Live Bar October 7th according to The Daily Telegraph, Newcastle plans to expand the St. James Park Stadium. After the expansion, the capacity of the stadium will reach about 65000 people.

The St. James Park stadium currently has 52000 seats and is the 7th Premier League stadium. The Daily Telegraph said that Newcastle had begun to formulate plans to expand the stadium, and the board of directors would study all the plans. As tickets were in short supply on the match day, the board of directors firmly promised to increase the capacity of the stadium.

Multiple sources said that the preferred solution for Newcastle to expand the home court is to expand the size of the East Watch and the gallogate stand to be similar to the size of the niassas watch and Milburn stand, this will make the stadium look more like a bowl. It is expected that the capacity of St James Park Stadium will reach 65000 after the expansion, becoming the second largest stadium in the Premier League after Old Trafford.
